Just a little update!

My Dad asks the best questions so I will use them for this blog....

1.What do you eat??? Kangaroo??? Koala bear?

Well we have been eating at home so Catherine or Ji have been cooking. We eat lots of Italian and Mexican food. I did see some “Roo meat” at the grocery store....but I haven’t tried any yet 

2. Have you seen any Kangaroos???

Not yet. They don’t have very many in the Gold Coast that aren’t in a zoo....Think of Miami....thats where I live right now.

3.Do you have job yet??? 

haha job.... I will work when I am good and ready. Which turns out is SOOON!!!!!! After a mini-vacation!!!! 

So the Gold Coast is BEAUTIFUL and fun and wonderful BUT I am a little bored here. So Catherine and I have decided to move up North to Cairns where we will experience on of the 7 WONDERS OF THE WORLD!!!!!! She is going to do a diving course and I am going to look into an multiple day Kayak trip to somewhere awesome. We will stay in a backpackers hostel for two weeks and just enjoy the beauty of Australia!!! I am so excited about the Great Barrier Reef I could just BURST!!!

After that wonderful vacation we will work our way down the coast doing 3 months of fruit picking.....don’t judge! It will be hard work but it makes really good money and some places even accommodate us!!!  Is there a patron Saint for hard labor because I will definitely need that saint to intercede during those months!!!

I am really loving all that Australia has to offer but I still am taken aback when people stare at me with that weird look. I don’t look like any of the people here!!! Then I open my mouth and they can’t understand my Texan Accent....hahaha I love it!! When people ask where I am from I automatically say TEXAS instead of the United states (which my friends make fun of all the time)....But Texans aren't NORMAL Americans...DUH! 

I am finally adjusted to the time. I had a really hard time letting go of constantly knowing what time it was in Texas...Funny how I counted down until it was time for me to move to Australia and now I can’t let go of my Texas comfort blanket. I miss everyone like crazy and it really drives me MAD that the internet here is so S-L-O-W!!!!!!!! I could just DIE sometimes!!!

*easy access to my family...

I am going to be super busy in the up coming months so don't be surprised if I don't blog....lets be honest: I SUCK AT KEEPING UP WITH MY BLOG!!!! I pinkie promise to try to at least keep a journal off line so I can just upload what I am up to.....Thank Thank Thank YOU for supporting all my crazy dreams always!!! I feel a constant comfort of love and prayers!!!!
