Two weeks already?!?! I have really lost track of time!! I am good and settled into my room at Ji's house. I have realized that I brought way TOO MUCH STUFF!! Didn't see that one coming....
For the first two days it rained like crazy so we just hung out and tried to catch up on sleep. Catherine and I both woke up at 3am both mornings and couldn't go back to bed. We have come a long way now. Well I still wake up at 6am every morning and get super exhausted around 8pm. Its nice because it gives me some time to myself. I have been running every morning and I have only been lost once or twice!!
This is my running path...it goes for miles and is super beautiful!!! It's my happy place for sure!!
About once a day I truly have to stop and take a deep breath and take in my surroundings. I feel so unbelievably lucky to be living in Australia...how random and wonderful!! I am so happy and excited about my life and my future. I feel like the options for my future are ENDLESS!!! Just imagine getting to start completely over, move anywhere and start from scratch. Thats how I feel. So I have a maximum of 2 years to sort my life out...
Here are a list of my goals for my Australian Dream:
*Pay off LOANS
*Travel around
*Gain experience in the social services
* Network like crazy
* Find what I want to be when I grow up....
* Worry less...
*embrace the Australian culture
*live without regret
I am one lucky girl. I haven't had a single day go by that I felt alone. The amount of love, prayers, and encouragement I get from my friends and family is unbelievable. I would never have the courage to do this alone. Plus, I have some pretty sweet friends to share this journey with!!!
This is only TWO weeks in....imagine the possibilities of a month!!!! Stay posted for the good stuff!!!
